French Roulette

Description

French Roulette represents the variation of the roulette game that originates from the 18th century and became popular after the French Revolution. Roulette can be translated as a little wheel and even if it looks simple, it is a very entertaining gambling activity with a great winning potential. French roulette is different from other roulette games as it features quite specific table layout. It is most frequently played in Monte Carlo casinos.

The game features a ball, a wheel and numbers colored black and red and marked from 1 to 37. There is also one green slot numbered 0. Such variation of roulette featuring only one zero pocket (as opposed to the American variant with 0 and 00) lowers the house’s advantage. A player can bet on any single number or the range or numbers, odd or even, black, red or green.

French roulette also features such an option as la partage. It presupposes the return of even-money bets in their half amount in case the winning number is 0. The layout of a playing table is in French and there is one more option call bets that differentiates this game from other roulette games.

Objective

The idea of the game is in the correct prediction of the slot where the ball will land after the wheel stops spinning. By making a right guess of the number, the color and in accordance with the type of your bet, you will get the corresponding payout.
